The Temple Terrace Storm Sewer Upgrade Project will replace the current storm sewer system with an upgraded system to improve storm water drainage within the neighborhood and surrounding areas.
Beginning March 25, a section of Stanford Street south of Buffalo Terrace to McKinney Street (blue section) will be closed. This closure will remain in effect through March 27.
Following the completion of work on this section, construction will commence on Stanford Street north of Buffalo Terrace. Initially, focus will be on the northbound lane (red section), starting Thursday and continuing through April 3. Subsequently, work will transition to the southbound lane (green section), beginning on April 3 and scheduled to conclude by April 11. It’s important to note that each section will be worked on individually, ensuring that a full closure of Stanford Street will not occur.
UPCOMING
PHASE 1
Phase I will resume the week of April 1 and is anticipated to be complete by April 12.
Road Closure Updates: Allen Pkwy will be open, but through traffic will not be able to travel north on Stanford St. to Allen Pkwy.
PHASE 2
Phase II will resume once Phase I is complete.
PHASE 3
This Phase is mostly complete and will be finished following repaving in 4 – 6 weeks.
